Easter Sunday

I am looking forward to Sunday. A friend invited me to attend Easter services with her. It should be a lot of fun. This will be the first time in about a year that I've been able to have the opportunity to go to church without having to really worry about any accessibility issues. I honestly don't really know what the service will be like- or just how different it might be from any of the churches I've been to back in Chicago. Yes, this will be another adventure I'll be able to add to my ever-growing list of college experiences that I have had this year- my first year at UIS.
What happened in order for me to be able to have this experience is that a friend saw me at the LRH cafe waiting for it to open. She sat down briefly to tell me a little bit about her church and the activities they're doing for REZ week this week- the activities that are going on to commemorate the re-birth of Jesus.
She also said that the church was accessible, other than the bathroom. I told her that I'm pretty sure it won't really be a big problem. "Big changes are happening to the church I attend," she told me. I said that I hoped enough money can help make these changes come true, and she told me that anything's possible with God. She's absolutely right about that!
