In only an hour and a half, Relay for Life starts. I'm sooooooo PUMPED for this event. I can't wait to help the American Cancer Society raise money for cancer education and research. It'll be a very positive experience on the campus of UIS, that's for sure. I'm glad I have the opportunity to actually be involved in such a worthwhile cause. Ending the semester on such a positive note- and showing everyone that even students with disabilities can be involved in something big- are the goals that I think I am now about to acheive in the next 12 hours.
A "Night of Mayhem" will soon take place just feet from LRH. It'll be amazing to see just how crazy things actually get tonight. I hope all of the teams and spectators are ready for 12 hours of craziness. After getting help taking a shower at 10 this morning (my personal assistant helped me), getting my hair style touched up, eating a MONSTROUS breakfast/lunch at 10:30, drinking two Mountain Dews, exercising for twenty minutes in the Great Room, followed by a nap- I'm ready for tonight!
