Illinois' weather is so unpredictible. We're in the middle of April, and parts of northern Illinois are currently under a Winter Weather Advisory- according to information from www.weather.com. Come on, MOther Nature, can't you make up your mind as to what spring weather should really be? Possibly three inches of snow could accumulate in the areas affected by this unusual springtime "winter storm".
While this weird winter weather is up north, Springfield- fortunately, or unfortunately- depending on how you look at rainfall. . . is going to get rain. Luckily, we're on the warm side of the storm, and we're not going to get that yucky stuff that'll be coming down north of here.
It's 6:15 in the evening, and it's unusually dark. I think that the stormy weather is on it's way. I'm glad I'm not going anywhere tonight. Without a proper raincoat and an umbrella, I would most definitely get soaking wet. Staying inside during a heavy- fairly rainstorm suits me just fine; however, trekking in the mud it leaves behind- using my wheelchair, of course- isn't all that much fun.
