I have cerebral palsy, and sometimes that can be a real pain in the butt. My body works well to a certain extent, but it also does what it wants to do. My muscles don't stay calm and quiet when I'm trying to sleep. Often, my leg muscles begin to twitch and jerk, and I know that's not my fault. Hey, the signals between my brain and muscles tend to get crossed up- causing involuntary muscular movements.
Being a girl, I really hate it when it's the dreaded "time of the month", and having a disability makes this really bad. My stomach muscles contract, and sometimes that makes me feel like I can't move, as my stomach will bother me for a little while. I often feel like I have the flue, or that I actually ate way too much lunch or dinner. However, I know that being a woman with cerebral palsy makes me have to deal with the pain and agony of muscle cramps and muscle spasms.
Weather plays a role in how my body works. Cold weather makes my muscles contract a lot. My body will shake, even when I'm outside. Partly, I'm cold because of it being nippy. On the other hand, my muscles are going into spasms as a result of having cerebral palsy. It makes actually being as normal as I possibly can almost impossible
