At Last-Peace and Quiet

I'm glad it's the weekend of Easter. Lots of people are going home to spend time with their families. With lots of kids on my floor gone this weekend, I'll be able to finally have peace and quiet. It's not that I don't enjoy having my friends around, but I'd at least like it if the prankster goes home. . . or off campus this weekend. I'm tired of the late night poundings on my bedroom door or hearing someone- thinking that I'm hearing someone ring my bathroom doorbell.
This week has been full of craziness. It's been a challenge for me to get a full night's sleep successfully because someone will try to wake me up by ringing my doorbell or pounding quite loudly on my bedroom door. The only reason why I think this is going on is because people are beginning to realize that we're quickly approaching the end of this school year, and everyone is getting restless.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
