It's the 8th inning, and this game appears to be pretty much over. I have a feeling that the White Sox are going to win this game. The way I see it, the Minnesota Twins aren't going to be able to pull off a victory. This would certainly make my parents extremely happy. Wouldn't it be interesting if today ends with both Chicago baseball teams have victories? That would be quite interesting, indeed.
It's the bottom of the 8th inning, and the score hasn't changed. The White Sox are still leading by the same one-run lead. Honestly, I don't think they're going to have enough time or even a chance to increase the lead by much. It would be awesome, though, if that actually did happen. It'd be miraculous if the Minnesota Twins actually ended up winning this game; however, I seriously doubt that's going to happen.
Now. . . it's still the bottom of the 8th inning, and Juan Eurebe just pelted a home run. This now made the score 2-0. Too bad nobody was on base. If there were any base runners, the lead could possibly be more than just a 2-run stretch. It's interesting that the White Sox are able to have a lead like this, despite the unusually cold temperatures. Scott Posednic just scored, increasing the lead to 3-0.
Although the score is 3-0, Paul Konerko is going to try to increase the score. He couldn't do it, but a ground-ruled double resulted from his attempt. I'm actually shocked that, like the Cubs, the White Sox have lead the entire game. They didn't let the Twins score at all- whereas, the Cubs only let the Brewers score just once. Maybe this is a light that means the Sox are going to try to have a season just like the Cubs. Two teams with good records would be interesting.
This inning is stretching on and on. The bases are loaded, and I think that the White Sox are shooting for more runs. That would be quite interesting. With only two outs and the bases loaded, it seems as though the White Sox are really trying to win this game. It's entirely possible that they'll be able to win this game.
It's now the 9th inning, and the White Sox now have to strike out the three Minnesota Twins batters. If they can hold off any hopes of scoring attempts by the Brewers, this game will definitely be theirs for the taking. Hey, this game already is theirs, as the score is so great this late in the game. With the "Jenks", as my dad has nicknamed Bobby Jenks, the White Sox closer, the Sox will probably have a great opportunity to have this game won.The final score in this game was 3-0.

My Interesting Life As a Student
- Nico Echols
- Springfield, Illinois, United States
- I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
