I wish that spring would make a return appearance. I don't like winter trying to be in the place of spring. Because winter is trying to take spring's place, it is definitely not a lot of fun being outside. Who wants to take a walk or sitoutside if it is windy, cloudy, and unusually chilly by mid-spring standards? Personally, I wouldn't like to be that person.
A baseball game had to be postponed this afternoon, due to this crazy weather. A game in Seattle just got postponed as a result of an unexpected early-April snowstorm. Originally, snow came down as just tiny flurries, and the umpires thought that they would just have to delay the game until it stopped snowing. However, the snowflakes got bigger, and the game had to be postponed.
The baseball rules used to say that the game could be picked up where it left off during a weather related delay- no matter what the score was. If the delay took place in the fifth inning, with one team leading the other, the game could be called with the score as is- and that would be the final score. That isn't the case anymore.
According to what the commentators have just said, if a game is called as a result of weather, a delay isn't going to happen- resulting in the game resuming from when the game got called. The new rule is that the game has to get rescheduled and played from the very beginning- played all over again, erasing the score from when the game was stopped.

My Interesting Life As a Student
- Nico Echols
- Springfield, Illinois, United States
- I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
