Feed The Needy

A canned food drive is taking place on campus this week. It seems strange that there was no announcements made about it last week, and I just learned about it today. Donating food to less fortunate people is a wonderful idea; however, I only wish I knew about this sooner. Maybe, I could have asked my parents to donate some canned food that they might have.
Even though I just found out about this, I've already e-mailed my mom to ask her to donate any canned food. Hopefully, she'll be able to help out. Although she has already sent my care package, she's sending a smaller one this week with things that she had forgotten to include in the original package.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
