It's the 2nd day of the Cubs first home stand of this new baseball season. Unfortunately, it's beginning the same way that yesterday's game did. The Cubs, in the top of the 5th inning are trailing by a score of 4-0 to the Houston Astros. I hate the "Killer Bees" because they are trying to keep the Cubs from winning a lot of games.
It's the bottom of the 5th inning. I really hope that the Cubs can put the breaks on this four-run lead that Houston has. Houston doesn't deserve to win two games in a row. The Cubs now have one man out, and a man walked- so I hope that this is the beginning of a MAJOR Cubs comeback. Hooray! It's about time we have a runner in scoring position. Maybe, we'll finally get a score- and drag this inning on for a bit longer.

My Interesting Life As a Student
- Nico Echols
- Springfield, Illinois, United States
- I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
