Let the Baseball Fun Begin

This is an exciting week. It's Opening Week for Major League Baseball. I hope that the Cubbies can have a good first week, with as few losses as possible. This season, unlike last, isn't going to begin with everyone believing that this is THE YEAR the CUBBIES are going to be VICTORIOUS, and then our hopes get dashed as the season rolls on, with the Cubs losing players because of injuries- and having trouble beating teams that we normally have absolutely NO trouble at all beating.
I think that the Cubs can beat the STINKY St. Louis Cardinals (a.k.a, Birdies) this year. Last year, they did well enough to move on to the playoffs, eventually becoming World Series champions. I say that this IS THE YEAR for the CUBBIES to dominate the National League Central division. All of our rivals will fear us because we'll be a good team.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
