Bad Luck On Opening Day

On a chilly day at Wrigley Field, the Cubs lost their Home Opener to the Houston Astros. Luckily, the loss wasn't be a lot- only by two runs. I'm actually surprised that the Cubs didn't win the home opening game. I was hoping that, even though it's a bit chilly for baseball in Chicago, the weather conditions wouldn't keep the Cubs from playing a wonderful game. . . one in which they'd end up victorious. Unfortunately, today's game just wasn't meant to be. Too bad- maybe tomorrow will have much better results

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
