Transitions

I am so glad that the school year is coming to an end. This year has been a big transition for me. Not so much a transition into living in a college dorm, but a transition into making a decision about possibly living off campus while going to school. There hasn't been a lot of transition into the amount of homework I've had to do, as I got used to this type of study habit while I was attending Roosevelt University.
I feel that I've adjusted quite well in my transition into college, regardless of having to start all over again as a freshman. Even if I hadn't had to start over, I think I would have still needed to adjust into my new life. I guess all college students go through this same transitioning, no matter if they are just beginning college for the first time or if they're transferring to another school.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
