It's 4:30- Where Did Everyone Go

It's 4:30, and LRH is still unusually quiet. One West, in particular, appears to be totally abandonded. At this time, people are often milling about on my floor, and there is usually quite a bit of talking going on. It's welcome noise after it's been unusually quiet for so long. As quiet as it has been, it feels like the summer vacation time- when there is NOBODY on campus, except for the Youth With Disabilities Leadership Summit group.
It has been quiet like this since late last week-welcome quiet, though. I was able to work on English homework with very few distractions, but I miss my friends a lot. It feels like everyone has left me behind. Am I the only one on this floor who chose not to leave town for Easter weekend? Because LRH is currently a "ghost town", it sure feels like everyone wanted to go somewhere, and I wasn't invited.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
