The Papers Never Seem to End

Lately, it seems like I'm constantly writing papers for English. It seems like every week or two a new writing assignment gets issued. The lengths of the assignments vary; however, it seems like there's just no break in writing essays. Although I enjoy writing, academic writing is a lot more challenging than creative writing. . . . especially if the type of assignment is a research paper.
When I attended Roosevelt University, I don't remember there ever being so many papers being assigned one right after another. When I took English 100, 101, and 102 at Roosevelt University, the length of the papers didn't really exceed beyond four pages. I guess that was how the English department there designed the course requirements for the students at Roosevelt.
Maybe the English class I'm in here at UIS is more of an honor's-level course, and the courses at Roosevelt were merely preparing me for tougher courses that I might someday take. I'm glad I'm ready for such challenging work; however, constantly writing papers is exhausting work.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
