I hope that my interview goes well this afternoon. It's been a while since I took part in the self-defence class, but I still remember that experience- even 6 months after I participated in the program. Because I still remember my experiences of that program The memories of being involved in self-defence training are still sticking with me- even long after the program has ended.
I hope that my participation in this interview will help to create a program that will be interesting and informative to the girls on the UIS campus.

My Interesting Life As a Student
- Nico Echols
- Springfield, Illinois, United States
- I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
