Relay For Life Followed By a Convention

I can't wait for this evening's fun to get underway. "Relay for Life" is the name of the game for this particular Friday night. Luckily, I'm super PUMPED for it. Within the last three hours, I ate a HUGE breakfast/lunch, and I also drank two monstrous cups/bottles of Mountain Dew. Having done that, I will definitely be able to stay awake for quite a while.
I'm doing this event in my wheelchair, so my legs won't get tired. Even though this year's Relay for Life event is on the UIS campus, walking for 12 hours is just impossible. I don't want to get warn out early into this evening's festivities. That wouldn't make me happy whatsoever. Therefore, I'm going to do whatever it takes to stay up through the entire event- no matter how my body tries to shut down.
When Relay for Life has finished, I'm not going to be able to stop to sleep. It's off to a College Republicans convention in Macomb, Illinois. I've never been to an event like this, so it'll be yet another first for me. Hopefully, it will be a lot of fun and very exciting.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
