I Can't Wait Till School Is Out for the Summer

I feel like I've been constantly working on English homework for the last week. I don't feel like I've been doing a lot of reading, but I feel like I've been doing nothing but writing my latest paper. It seems like that has pretty much consumed a lot of my academic energy this week. I'm not complaining, really. I enjoy writing, but sometimes writing can be quite exhausting. I've been working on my latest paper in spuradic motions- not actually working on it for hours at a time. I work on making changes to a draft, save it, print it out- thinking I'm ready to turn in the final draft with the other drafts to show the changes that I have made.
So far, this hasn't been the case. My English teacher has commented twice with suggestions to improve what I have already written. Using these suggestions, I have written two additional drafts, posting each draft on the Blackboard forum for our class. I hope that I don't have to make any further changes to this essay- it's quite exhausting to constantly work on English homework.
I didn't think that I'd be working on homework this weekend, as I usually try to work ahead on assignments. I'm the type of person who doesn't like to try to consume the entire weekend in doing schoolwork. I like to try to relax over the weekend, instead of worrying about school. Obviously, this weekend ended up not really allowing me to relax much.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
