Has Winter Returned

It's the 2nd week of April, and it no longer feels like spring. Spring has somehow been replaced by winter. The only good side to this is there's been no snowstorms- only a few snow flurries last Friday. Whatever happened to the nice spring temperatures. Winter should take a long vacation, and return when it's actually supposed to in December.
According to information I found on www.weather.com, a Freeze Warning is again in effect for tonight. Freeze warnings in April are highly unusual, but this is Illinois, where we constantly have ever-changing weather conditions.
Because the weather is playing an "April Fools" prank in trying to make people believe that it's actually winter, trying to dress correctly hasn't been very easy for me. I still have some long pants, sweatshirts, and long-sleeved shirts; however, my big winter coat is at home in storage. I honestly thought that I wouldn't need it again until the winter months, so my mom took it home with her when she thought it was all right to set out lighter-weight clothes. I still have some of my winter clothes just in case, but I didn't think the weather would act this unusual.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
