In The Middle of The Game

It's the end of the top of the 5th inning, and the current score is 1-0 in favor of the Cincinnatti Reds. Honestly, I really don't know when or how they managed to score one run, when I was actually hoping that today would be another chance for the Cubs to do a great deal of damage- and actually win two games in a row this weekend.
It's now the bottom of the 5th inning, and I really hope that this is the chance for the Cubs to turn things around. I don't think the Cubs are going to be able to do any scoring damage if they get struck out by the Cincinnatti Reds, who have struck out two Cubs hitters already in this part of the 5th inning. Boy, do I hope that our next hitter can get on base, rather than striking out. Finally, the guy at bat is trying to get on base. We needed scoring chances; however, the 5th inning just didn't allow that to happen.
On to the 6th inning, and I hope that we can strike Cincinnatti out in order, without allowing them to score again. It's about time the Cubs make an attempt at striking the Reds out in order. Cincinnatti most definitely doesn't deserve to win this afternoon, regardless of the nice weather. Good bye, Reds. Now it's our turn to do all the scoring.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
