Ouch! This Crazy Weather Makes My Lips Chapped

I REALLY hate this unusually chilly weather. My lips are super chapped, and they hurt quite a bit. It's as if I'm suffering from winter dry lips, but it's no longer winter. I think I'm going to nickname it "spring chapped lips' because the season is actually spring, even if it has felt like winter the last couple of days. Honestly, applying chapstick at night doesn't help, but it's probably because I'm only applying it at night. Maybe, to combat my painfully chapped lips, I should try to apply the chapstick in the morning as well.
Maybe. . . if Mother Nature would make up her mind, we'd be in a season that everyone's skin can live with. Bouncing back and forth between spring and winter-like temperatures is absurd. Winter should be long gone by now, and spring flowers should have their chance to have a good blooming season, instead of being threatened by a freeze several nights in a row.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
