No More Cardinals

I hope that the Cubs can win their game against the Cardinals this afternoon. It would be amazing if that actually were the case. However, the Cardinals are a difficult team to beat, as a result of who their players are. The Cubs always have a tough time beating them- no matter if the game is at Wrigley Field in Chicago or Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
Regardless, I'd really like to see the Cubs win the weekend series. I don't like the Cardinals much, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they don't repeat as World Series champions again this year. However, the way they're playing against the Cubs this afternoon sure makes me think that the Cubs are going to really have a difficult time facing the "birdies" this weekend.
Luckily, we just got a base-hit in our half of the ninth inning. Maybe there's a light at the end of this game's tunnel, meaning that we'll squeak by with our first victory against the "birdies" so far in this young 2007 major league baseball season. It would be completely awesome if we manage to win this afternoon's game.
Not cool! Some debris has been thrown out onto the field, and there was a short delay in the game. When play resumed, the Cubs struck out again. . . unfortunately, allowing a chance for the Cardinals to win the game this afternoon. Well, tomorrow's another game, and it's a later start. Hopefully, it'll be good for the Cubs, and they'll be able to win.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
