Crazy Weather

I know it's only the beginning of April, but someone told me that it tried to snow a little bit this morning. Snow in April in Illinois isn't really that unusual, but snow in Central Illinois in April sure seems odd to me. We are already well into spring, and it shouldn't even be cold and blustry/winterlike anymore. Spring should be the type of season that choses to be the type of conditions at this point, leading into the heat of summer.
Knowing that it's still unusually chilly, I don't think I'd really want to go out much today. Not only is it cold- unusually cold by April standards-it also tried to snow this morning. SNOW! I really can't believe it. I'm glad I've only gone outside once today, since winter has mysteriously decided to give spring a break for some unknown reason.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
