Tonight's A Special Night

Tonight is such a special night. Pretty much everyone in 1 West is going out for dinner to celebrate Steven Lupa's birthday, even though it's a week early. I'm so glad we're having a party tonight. It'll be glad to go someplace that I've never been before, and try some new foods. That's why I'm not going to eat dinner when the cafe opens in a half hour.
No, we're eating a late dinner tonight-having a dinner party to honor the "mysterious man". He's going to LOVE it, I hope. I can't wait to see the look on his face when I give him the surprise birthday card my PA and I found on line and colored. I hope he appreciates the fact that I seriously took the time to think about him today. Sometimes, I think he often feels underappreciated by his friends.
That's not going to be the case this time. I want the "mysterious man" to feel very special this evening. Nothing is going to spoil this wonderful occasion. I've been excited about this night for a while, and I hope that he is just as excited about it as I am.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
