Being Interviewed is A Big Deal

I'm brinh interviewed about my experiences being in the Rape Aggression Defense course last semester. I'm so glad I'm going to be able to share a little bit about my experiences doing that program last fall. The fact that I have such a challenging physical disability is what actually made the program worthwhile for me. Really, I'd love to share these thoughts about it- and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to do so.
The weird thing about the interview is that it has already been cancelled and rescheduled once. Originally, I tried to schedule it for next Tuesday, which would have worked out perfectly for me. Unfortunately, that didn't work- as there is something going on at the Women's Center that day. I got an e-mail, asking me if the appointment could be rescheduled. . . and it's now scheduled for a week from tomorrow in PAC, so I'd be able to get some lunch-to-go beforehand.

My Interesting Life As a Student

Springfield, Illinois, United States
I'm living in Springfield, but I'm originally from Chicago. I am now living in a group home for people who are visually impaired. Living at the Mary Bryant Home has been a huge step in my life. I am now able to get involved in activities every day. I am making lots of new friends, and I'm enjoying living with my new family. Since I'm the youngest person, I feel like I have lots of parents and grandparents, and even my best friend, who is like a big sister, to spend my time with. I don't think I'd change this for anything else in the world.
